JUST 3 EASY STEPS

Open the containers and separate the colored and white materials into halves, keeping separated.
Mix one of the colored halves with one of the white halves. Mix until both halves are one consistent color.
Gently press material into one ear by pushing in the center of the silicone. Let it sit in your ear for 10 minutes, then remove the plug. Repeat steps for second earplug.

Cheaper than custom earplugs

Worked well fits good. No issues wearing for over 4 hour ride.

DIY inserts

Got these in the fall and was able to use them for about 1500kms of riding. From what I can tell so far they are an excellent ear plug for the money. I was getting tired of the waste, and the pressure that disposable foam plugs had on my ears so I gave these a try. I like them and will probably order a second set in the spring.

Did not perform as I had hoped.

The making of the plugs went pretty well. The first plug maybe not so well inserted during molding process, second ear went better. Would have been better if the kit came with enough material to make two pairs as I might have been able to improve them. While wearing the plugs, noticed they did not stay put fully seated as I put on my helmet. While riding, noise levels were not sufficiently lowered like b/c the plugs were not well seated. The plugs are somewhat harder than foam plugs and became uncomfortable after only 20 minutes use, likely b/c not fully seated.

Protecting what little hearing I have left

Easy to follow instructions and do a great job of cutting down noise and they never fall out !
